PROPG
The Prorectorate for Graduate Studies (PROPG) is a central executive body of Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina created to assist the Rector with executive tasks related to graduate education.
Among the main responsibilities of PROPG are:

- developing policies for graduate education at UFSC;
- managing UFSC graduate programs, both academically and financially;
- recognizing master’s and doctoral degrees conferred by foreign institutions;
- proposing internal regulations governing graduate education.
